Swimming Instead of Running

It’s been two weeks since I last ran πŸ˜ͺand I have 8 days until I run again πŸ˜ƒ

I stopped running temporarily in hopes of healing my body from some lingering injuries and preventing any new ones.

I’m growing impatient waiting and counting down the days until I’m clear for pavement pounding again.

Running is so convenient. You can go anywhere and anytime. There isn’t much planning or prep to tackle the workout.

Swimming is much different. I have to pack a bag with dry clothes. I have to drive to the gym. I swim for 30-60 minutes. 🏊 I have to shower immediately afterπŸ›€, then drive home. Ugh I miss hoping out the front door and just getting to it.

Although after all my complaining…I will say I do like the way I feel after swimming. No soreness… just healthy πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
